It gives us great pleasure to announce that our longest standing sponsor, Fidelity ADT, have once again sponsored our Central division with a new emergency medical Response Vehicle.
Fidelity-ADT very generously covers the running costs of one of our vehicles, including our monthly fuel and servicing costs. This Response Car is dedicated to one of our three divisions, the Central division, which operates in the City Bowl and along the Atlantic Seaboard. This vehicle will be utilised to provide a free emergency medical response service to all that are experiencing a life-threatening emergency. This donation enables us to respond to medical emergencies in our service area and stabilize the patient whilst awaiting the arrival of the nominated ambulance service. This community initiative between Fidelity – ADT and Community Medics has already seen numerous lives being saved and especially benefits those that cannot afford a first class emergency medical response service.
Community Medics also have two other divisions, namely the West Metro which operates in Table View and surrounds and the South Metro, which operates in Tokai and surrounds. Without Fidelity-ADT’s continued support, Community Medics would not be where it is today. Without their donation, we wouldn’t be able to provide prompt medical assistance to those in need in our area. This not only benefits those in our area of operation but also the greater EMS community as a whole.
Community Medics also assists the Department of Health’s Emergency Medical Services Ambulance Service when they experience high call volumes, as well as assisting various Private Ambulance Services that we have a close working relationship with. It is only with these close working relationships and wonderful sponsorships that we are able to make such a difference to the community, and we would like to thank all those involved for their continued support.
